In the name of god Amen the thirteenth day of februarie in the eleventh
yeare of the Raigne of our Sovraigne Lorde Charles by the grace of god

dni 1635 I Thomas Worthington of Coppull in the Countie of Lancaster
yeoman Sicke and weake in body but of good and pfect memorie I praise
god therefore, utterlye renouncinge & revokinge all former wills and
testamts by mee heretofore made, doe nowe hereby constitute ordaine and
make this my last will and testamt in mannr and forme followinge, first
and principally I comend my soule unto Almighty god my Creator Redeemr
and Sanctifyer~~ hopinge assuredlye (?) by and through the merits of the
death and passion of my savior Jesus Crist to Inherit evrlasting lyfe,
And my bodye I comit to Christian buriall at my pishe Church at Standish
in my accustomed buriall place, there to remaine untill the resurrecon
of all men, att wch daie or ressurecon I hope to ryse againe wth comfort
to Imortalite, and for to remaine wth my savior amongst all his elected
Children in the kingdom of heaven for evrmore, And for those temporall
goods wch the lorde in great mercye hath bestowed upon mee, I give and
bequeth them as followeth, And first my will is that all my goods shall
bee devyded into thrie equall pts, The first pte I give and bequeth unto
Agnes my wyfe, the seconde pte thereof I give and bequeth unto Thomas
Worthington my youngest sonne, The third and last pte I reserve to my
selfe. my funerall expencs beinge discharged all the resydue & remainder
I give unto my sonne Thomas, all the rest of my children beinge by mee
heretofore prferred wth good and sufficient porcons wherein I have
sevrall acquaintances wch will fully apeare, Itm I doe give to all the
children wch I am grandfather unto, evrie of them xiid apeece.// Itm I
doe hereby constitute ordaine and make my lovinge neighboures and frends
Olyver Haydock of Walchwhittle and Henry Slater of the same, my true and
lawfull executors of this my last will and testamt, hopinge they will
truly execute and pforme, as my trust is in them before all others,
alsoe it is my will that you my executors shall have either iijs-iiijd
