In the name of God Amen the sixteenth day of June in the thirty fourth yeare of the reigne of our sovereigne lord King Charles the second by the grace of God of England Scotland France & Ireland king defender of the faith &c Annoq dmi 1682. I Richard Wareing of Coppull in the county of Lancaster yeoman (being in health of body and of good & pfect memory (thanks be to God) doe make this my last will & testament in manner & forme following. That is to say first I bequeath my soul into the hands of Almighty God and my body I comit to the earth to be buried in such manner as to mine executors hereafter named shall seem meet. And touching the distribution of my temporall estate I dispose of the same as followeth That is to say as for & concerning my goods cattells chattels and personal estate whatsoever I dispose of the same as followeth First I will devise & bequeath that my debts & funeral expenses be first deducted & discharged out of the same. And from and after such deduction I will devise and bequeath one full third part thereof to Elizabeth (my loving wife). Item I give and bequeath to Mary Wareing widow (late wife of my son John Wareing decd) the sume of twenty shillings and to her daughter Sarah the sume of ten shillings. Item I give William Haydock clerk Rector of the Parish Church of Standish in the said county five Edward shillings. And I will devise and bequeath the then rest residue and remainder of all my personall estate to & amongst the said Elizabeth my wife William Wareing Robert Wareing Ralph Wareing Anne Charnock (wife of James Charnock of Charnock Richard in the said county yeoman) Elizabeth Wareing and Jane Wareing sons and daughters of me the said Richard Wareing equally to be devided amongst them part and part like. And I do make constitute ordaine & appoint my said son William Wareing and the said James Charnock my son in law executors of this my last will and testament hoping they will truly pforme the same. And I doe also make and ordaine my good friends William Haydock aforesaid overseer of the same. In witness whereof I the said Richard Wareing have herunto set my hand & seale the day & year first above written.
