In the name of God Amen the Fourteenth daye of December in the year of our lorde god accordinge to the computacion of the Church of England Aone thowsuand six hundreth and three(?) I Nicholas Richardson ------of Coppull in the county of Lancaster husbandman being Sicke in bodye, but of good and pfecte memorie I prayse god theirefore, doe mak my last will and testamt as followeth. First and principal lie I comende my soule into the hands of almightie god my onelie saviour Redeemer and sanctifyer, and my bodye I commit to xtian buryall and for such goods as god hathe lent I doe dispose and bequethe as foloweth Imprimis I give and bequethe unto Ellen Worthington whoe I am uncle unto Twentie pounds Item I geve and bequethe unto Ellen Cawsey who doth dwell with me Tenne pounds and I appoint that my executors hereafter named doe put forth the same unto the beter use and comodytie of the sayd Ellen Cawsey until she comes unto her full age of Twentie one years Item i geve and bequethe unto Richard Williamson(?) whom I am uncle, three pounds six shillings and eight pence Item I geve and bequethe unto William Rogerson my godson and unto Mathew Worthington my godson unto either of them Tenn shillings I geve and bequethe unto Richard Worthington, and Margaret his sister to either of them vjs viijd Item I geve and bequethe unto Jennet Worthington my sister Twentie shillings Item I geve and bequethe unto everie of the children of William Hallywell of Boulton which --- ---- by Margerie Dickson his wife sixe shillings eight pence apeece, I geve and bequethe unto Roger Haydock sonne of Henrie Haydock Tenne shillings Item I geve and bequethe unto John Rothewell vjs viijd Item I geve and bequethe unto Cecilie Whitle my servante twelve shillings Item I geve and bequethe to Roger Williamson Tenne shillings Item I geve and bequethe unto every childe of Thomas Worthington, except the said Mathewe twoo shillings a peece Item I geve and bequeth to Roger Bybbye my ----- ----- my oulde dublett and a paire of russett Breeches or hose(?) Item I geve and bequethe unto Elizabeth Mooncke wydowe, and unto Jane Hilton wiffe of George Hilton to either of them vjs viiijd Item I geve and bequethe unto Jane Rigby wife of James Rigby of Westhoughton two shillings Item I geve and bequethe unto Robert Richardson two shillings and eight pence Item all the reste of my goods after my legacies and funerall expences ---­and ----- I geve and bequethe unto my freinds Atwo illegible linesU of my executors hereafter named as they shall thinke most needful (?) soe to geve them theire ---- and I constitute and make Henrie Haydock and John Haydock my lawful executors to execute and performe this my last will and testament as my truste is there
