In the name of god amen I John Sllater of Coppull in the County
of Lancaster
husbandman beinge Weake in body but of good and pfect memory prased bee
god for the same doe constitute ordayne and make this my last will &
testement in maner
& forme
folowinge ; first I comite my sowle in to the hands of Allmighty god my
maker Trustinge that by the merits & bitter passion of my Saviour Jesus
Christ to bee one of his Electe children & to
reigen with him &
his saints for ever; and my Body I comite to my Parish Church at
Standish there to bee buried amongst my Ancestores; and for those
temporal goods which god of his mercie hath bestowed uppon mee; I
Bequeth them as foloweth; Imprimis I give &
bequeth unto William Bibbie of Worthington 5s Item I give & bequeth
unto Ellizabeth Bibbie the wife of James Lister 5s Ite I give & beqth
unto Anne Bibbie the wife of Robert Leigh 5s Item I give & bequeth
unto Tho: Bibie children of Charnock Richard 5s Ite I give & bequeth
unto William Day children of Charnock Richard begoten of Mary Bibie 5s
Item I give 2c bequeth
unto my daughter Ann ChisnaIl six pence; Ite all the rest & residue
of my goods catells &
chattels after my debts &
funerall expenses I give to my seven soones equaly to bee devided
amongst them that is to say John Sllater; Geoarge : Sllater; James
Sllater; Raphe Sllater Richard Sllater Peeter Sllater; &
Abraham Sllater; and I doe constitute ordayne &
make John Sllater my soone my whole executor to see this my Last will ~
testement executed as my trust is in him; In \fitness whereof I the said
John Sllater have hereunto put my hand &
seale the 30 day of November in the yeare of our Lord god 1668
