John Fisher 1738





In the name of God amen I John Fisher of Coppull in the county of Lancaster yeoman to make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following. And first I commend my soul to God through the mediator Jesus Christ and my body to Christial burial at the discretion of my executors after named. And then I will and devise all my estate real and personal after my just debts and funeral expenses and the probate of this my last will and testament be paid and discharged.  Then it is my will and mind and I do hereby order and direct that after my decease the sum of five pounds yearly and every year to be paid by my executors unto my loving wife Martha Fisher during her natural life.  Also it is my will and mind and I hereby devise and bequeath unto my sons Edward Fisher Richard Fisher and Elizabeth Fisher my daughter all the estate I am possessed of real and personal equally to be divided amongst them share and share alike and I do hereby nominate and appoint my said son Edward Fisher and my brother in law James Fisher executors of this my last will and testament hoping they will see the same well and truly performed as my trust is in them reposed. In witness whereof I have hereunto put my hand and seal and published and declared this to be my last will and testament this twentyfirst day of January in the year of our lord one thousand seven hundred and thirty seven.

Sealed signed published and declared by the above named John Fisher four and as his last will and testament in presence of bars whose names are here and two subscribed in the presence of the said John Fisher to a test of the same
