In the name of God Amen the seven and twentieth day of January in the yeare of our Lord god one thousand six hundred fifthy and three, I James Bibbie of Coppull in the county of Lancaster husbandman being aged sick and weak in body but of sound and perfect memory I prays almighty god for the same utterly renouncing and revoking all former wills and testaments by me heretofore made do hereby constitute and ordain and make the my last will and testament in manner and form following First and principally I commend and comit my soul into the hands of Almighty God my creator redeemer and sanctifier hoping assuredly by and through the merits of my alone savious Christ Jesus to inherit everlasting life. And my body I commit t Christian burial at my parish church of Standish there to remain until the resurrection of allmankind at which day I hope to arise an immortal body and so to live and reign with my alone saviour Jesus Christ in his glorious kingdom of heaven for evermore. And for those temporal goods which the Lord in great mercy hath bestowed upon me My will and minde is And I do hereby give and bequeath them and all and every of them as followeth And whereas my late brother George Bybbie late of Coppull aforesaid in the said county deceased by verbal words before witnesses and long before his death did speak these words or to the like effect. That all his goods cattlells and chattels of what kind quality nature or condition soever the same be of shall be divided into two equal parts. The first part of the said goods and chattels he gives unto the said James Bibbie his brother party of these presents and the second part thereof he gives unto Jennett Bibbye of Coppull aforesaid in the said county widow   late wife of the said George Bibbye deceased. My will and mind is and I do hereby give and bequeath unto the said Jennet Bibbye widow my sister in law all that part and portion of goods and chattels whatsoever given unto me the said James Bibby aforesaid by my said late brother George Bibby and whereas also what goods cattle and chattels it hath pleased almighty God of his great mercy to bestow upon me which was my own proper goods and did of right belong unto me before the death and decease of the said late George Bibby my brother my will and mind is that my debts if there be any my funeral charges and expenses and probate of my will together with the charges thereunto belonging shall be paid and discharged out of my said goods which of right did belong unto me as aforesaid and all the rest and residue of my said goods over and besides my debts funeral expenses as aforesaid I give and bequeath unto the said Jennett Bibby widow my sister in law (except my body and backcloaths and apparel which I leave unto the disposing of the said Jennett Bibby my sister in law to give unto such of my poorer neighbours friends and kin folks as she in her discretion shall think most fit and needfull lastly my will and mind is and I do hereby constitute ordaine and make the said Jennett Bibby widow my sister in law my sole and only executrix of this my last will and testament hoping that she will truly execute and perform the same as my trust is in her above all others.  In witness whereof I have caused this same to be published and have hereunto put my hand and seal the day and year first above written

This will was proved at London before the judges for probate of wills and granting of administration's lawfully authorized the twenty seventh day of June in the year of our lord one thousand six hundred fifty five by the oath of Jennett Bibby sole executrix named in this said will to whom was committed administration of all and singular the goods chattels and debts of the deceased sheet being first by commission sworn truly to administer the same.
