Heskin Fell was one of
Coppull's early Quakers. His home was licensed as a Quaker meeting house in 1693
(see Lancs Record Office QSP 726/15) Received into his Majesties Goale att Lancaster the body of Heskin Fell of Coppull by the warrant of Roger Bradshawe knight & Nicholas Penningon major of Wigan and at the [illeg] James Worthington Constable of Coppull. I say received by mee Thos Jepson Xv s apiece (Lancashire Records Office, QSP 440/44, 1675)
