In the name of God Amen I Anne Taylor widow & relict of Seth
Taylor of Coppull in ye County of Lancr decd. being very weak of body,
but of sound disposing mind & memory do make and ordaine this my last
will & testament in manner & forme following that is to say, ffirst &
principally, I comend my soul into ye hands of God, hoping thro' ye
merits & intercession of Jesus Christ to obtaine salvation and my body
to ye earth to be decently buried att the discretion of my executrix
hereafter named and as to my temporall goods. After my debts, funerall
expences & ye probate of this my will are discharged & paid out of ye
whole I give & bequeath unto my son in law William Dawson & Margaret his
wife ffive shillings a piece Item I give unto my daughter Mary the bed
in the loft, the new cadow, and twenty shillings in money Item I give
unto Lidia my daughter ffive shillings Item I give unto Matthew Bibby my
son in law & unto Elizabeth, William, Ellin & Seth his children twelve
pence a piece and lastly , I give & bequeath unto Ellin my daughter the
remainder of all my goods and I do hereby constitute & appoint my sd
daughter Ellin sole executrix of this my last will and testament hoping
she will see ye same truely performed as my trust is in her reposed
hereby revoking all former wills heretofore made by me In witness
whereof I ye said Anne Taylor have hereunto put my hand & seal this
ffour & twentieth day of ffebruary Anno Dom |
